Ingredients:
- 4-5 lbs of chicken (cut into pieces)
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tbsp of paprika
- 2 tbsp of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 2 cups of buttermilk
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and baking powder.
- Pour the buttermilk into a separate bowl.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the buttermilk and then coat it in the flour mixture.
- Heat up the oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F.
- Fry the chicken pieces in the oil for about 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
- Drain the excess oil and serve hot.
